Unit 2 Projects

I didn't have an inspiration for this piece and I didn't use any glazes because I had to cut it in half. I think this assignment went well mainly because all I had to do was make a pinch pot and cut it in half. If I were to do it differently I would smooth out the piece more.

My inspiration for this piece was a 3rd grader who drew this monster. I used blue for the body, yellow for the beak, and a mix of red orange, and yellow for the spikes on top. I wish I could have made the legs and wings more accurate to the drawing but it wasn't possible.

My inspiration for this piece was the slides on Schoology. I never got a picture of the finished project for this but I used the jade glaze on it and it came out decently. If I were to do it differently I would make it bigger because it shrunk.

My inspiration for this piece was a leaf. I used a green underglaze and then put a clear glaze over it and I like how it looks. I don't have a picture of it with a clear glaze on it though. One thing I would have liked to do differently is making a lip so that the lid could sit comfortably in the pot.

My inspiration for this piece is my mom. I don't have a picture of it glazed again because my google drive is being weird but I used purple for the sky, brown for the boat, and blue and black for the ocean. If I had to do it differently I would make the writing look better because the letters weren't deep enough and they looked weird glazed.
